Our Dear Friend Lyn Strauch Has Passed Away

When Lyn Strauch passed away, we lost one of our most dedicated, thoughtful and generous members. A part of our circle from day one, she organized, taught and supplied materials for our art postcard seminar. This evolved into the Postcards for our Troops project which lasted several years and enabled members of the community at large to both learn about art quilting and send messages of support to our troops. She brought members into the Quilt Guild by volunteering at various community events; she taught at Mentor Night and was careful to make sure she knew participants'  names and that everyone understood the paper piecing that was her Mentor Night specialty. Though her health was failing, Lyn diligently attended our meetings and was always interested in what others had created.

Lyn will be missed.

The Memorial Service for Lyn will be Wednesday, December 10 at 2:00

at the Arcade Church in the Fellowship Hall.
